After years of hard work and layers of bureaucracy the first-ever, mountain bike-only trails in Oregon open Saturday at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park near Buxton for State Parks Day, when all Oregon State Parks have free day-use and free camping. Ryan McLane (front) and Terry Causey, volunteers with Westside Trail Federation, were taking laps on a run called Drip Torch Friday, which includes this wall that volunteers milled from downed forest wood.
